ASME SB444 N06625 Seamless Tube is able to withstand highly acidic conditions. In addition, Inconel 625 Pipe also has high tensile strength, good creep resistance, good weldability, etc.

According to ASTM B444 specification, it is divided into two grades, namely Grade 1 and Grade 2, according to its supply method. ASTM B444 Grade 1 seamless nickel tube shall be supplied in the annealed condition and is normally used at service temperatures up to 1100°F (593°C). ASTM B444 Grade 2 nickel alloy seamless tube is solution annealed and is normally used at service temperatures above 1100°F (593°C) when creep and rupture resistance is required.

SB 444 N06625 TESTING AND INSPECTION:

• Hydrostatic Testing: Every ASTM B444 Inconel 625 Pipe (seamless and cold worked) with an outside diameter of 3 mm and above and a wall thickness of 0.38 mm and above shall be tested in accordance with ASTM B829.
• Dimensional and visual inspection: outside diameter, wall thickness, inside diameter, length, straightness, flat ends, finish, and surface appearance.
• Tensile testing (ASTM E8) and hardness testing (ASTM E18).
• Nondestructive Testing (NDT): PMI, Ultrasonic Testing (ASTM E213), Eddy Current Testing (ASTM E426/E571).
